How To Enter
If you do not want to place your order over the web you can download the event entry form, complete and post in with cheque payment.
Entry Fee & Payment
The entry fee for the specific event entered is as shown on the event details page. The entry fee includes an online processing fee. You can pay with all major credit/debit cards (Including Switch, Visa, Mastercard). The payment will be made over a secure server - look for the usual (padlock) icon in your browser.
Entry Acceptance
Your entry will only be accepted if there are still places available and you meet the entry criteria specified for the event. In the event of your entry not being accepted you will be contacted by email and a full refund will be issued.
Entry Withdrawal
In accordance with UK law you are entitled to a 7 day cooling-off period, dating from when Pennine Events send acknowledgement of entry. If you decide to cancel your entry within this period, you must notify us in writing (including email). You will be reimbursed the event entry fee the fee paid for any other event item / service less any World Pay on-line transaction, processing or administration charges.
After this cooling-off period your entry is subject to the standard event withdrawal conditions. That is, entries are strictly personal, firm and binding and fees shall not be refunded for any reason. Applications can, under no circumstances, be transferred to another person, whatever the reasons.
Event Cancellation
Upon cancellation of the event a full refund will be given, unless the circumstances of the cancellation are outside of our control.
Limit of Our Liability
We are only liable for the provision of the event/service as entered. We cannot be held liable for any other expenses, damages, loss or injury incurred as a result of entering, training for, attending and/or participating in the event. Should the event be cancelled our liability is limited to the refund of event entry fee, as specified above, and we accept no liability for any expenses you may have incurred.
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law or under the express terms of the Contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by our negligence or our employees, agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods or their use or resale by you, and our entire liability under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the price of the Goods, except as expressly provided in these Conditions.
Currency of Purchase
All transactions will be conducted in UK Pound. An invoice will not be supplied with the confirmation of your entry but you will receive an email confirmation receipt.
Privacy Policy
To be able to use the Pennine Events Online Entry system we have to ask for and store some basic personal information about you. By using our online system to enter any event you consent to the collection and use of this data in the manner described.
We comply with and are registered under the Data Protection laws in the United Kingdom. We take all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to and use of your personal data.
Each Pennine Events event will have an Official Event Photographer present.
Please be aware that by ticking that you agree with our Terms & Conditions you give you consent for you event photo to be used in any future publications and PR surrounding Pennine Events events.
Data we Collect
When you use the Pennine Events Online Entry system you will be asked for your name, sex, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number and other information as specific to processing your entry for the specific event (for example, t-shirt size). You will also be asked to provide the same information for any team-mates you are entering.
The details you provide will be stored on a computer with on off-site back-up. These details are necessary to enable us to produce the necessary event lists, provide you with the appropriate event items, send you event information, contact you or your next of kin should you be unaccounted for after the event or an incident occurs.
If you choose to pay by credit/debit card we will also ask you for your credit/debit card details. These are only held by World Pay not by Pennine Events Ltd.
All event entry information will be retained by Pennine Events for a period of not less than one year from the transaction date. It will remain available during that period and supplied to the customer on request.
Other Use of Data
We may contact you by post, e-mail or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on our services. In addition we may use the information as a service to our customers through sending you information on other Pennine Events events, services or goods as they arise, unless you have signified to us that you do not wish us to contact you with this information.
Sharing Data
Your name, age category, gender and club/team name will appear on the public list of participants for each event you enter using the Pennine Events Online Entry System. We do not provide this information to any other commercial or non-commercial organizations, unless so as to comply with sporting governing body event permit or registration policies, or when we are organizing the event on behalf of such a commercial or non-commercial organization.
Updating your details
If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your e-mail or postal address, name or telephone number, please let us know the correct details by sending an e-mail to entry@pennineevents.co.uk or by sending a letter to Pennine Events Ltd, Unit 5, Hewitt Business Park, Winstanley Road, Orrell, Lancashire WN5 7XB.
Your consent
By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Policy. If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes on this page, and may place notices on other pages of the website, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.

Online Entry Terms and Conditions
Use of the Pennine Events Online Entry system is bound by the following Terms & Conditions. By using our online system to enter any event you consent to the Terms & Conditions described.
1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
1.1 IN THESE CONDITIONS:
Contract means any contract for the sale of goods and/or the supply of services between us and you into which these Conditions are incorporated;
Conditions means the standard terms and conditions of sale set out herein, including any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by us and attached hereto;
Goods means the goods and/or services which we shall supply in accordance with these Conditions, details of which are set out overleaf;
We means Pennine Events Limited, and “us” and “our” shall be construed accordingly;
You means the customer whose details are set out overleaf, and “your” shall be construed accordingly.
1.2 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.
1.3 All rights expressly reserved by or granted to us by these Conditions shall be without prejudice to any other rights which we may have from time to time.
1.4 Unless expressly stated otherwise, where rights and decisions are to be exercised or made at our discretion, then we shall be under no duty or obligation to you to justify or provide a reason for the decision.
1.5 Unless expressly stated otherwise, where our prior written consent is required in these Conditions, then we shall be under no obligation not to unreasonably withhold or delay in giving that consent.
2. BASIS OF SALE
2.1 These Conditions shall apply to all Contracts for the sale of Services and/or goods by us to you through our website to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions including any terms or conditions which you may purport to apply under any purchase order, and no variation of these Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing by us and attached hereto. These Conditions set out the entire agreement to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
2.2 Our employees or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Services and/or Goods unless confirmed by us in writing. In entering into a Contract you acknowledge that you do not rely on any such representations which are not so confirmed.
2.3 All specifications, drawings and particulars of prices, weights, dimensions and performance issued by us are approximate only and are not intended to form the basis of any Contract.
2.4 We reserve the right to withdraw any offer or special promotions that in the opinion of Pennine Events Ltd is being abused.
3. ORDERS AND SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 When you place an order to purchase Services and/or Goods, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase the Services and/or Goods which is accepted by us when we process your entry, provide the Service or dispatch the Goods to you. All orders are subject to availability and on a first-come first-served basis. Services and/or Goods cannot be reserved, and we reserve the right to refuse to accept an order.
3.2 You shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the terms of any order submitted by you, and for giving us any necessary information relating to the Services and/or Goods within a sufficient time to enable us to perform the Contract in accordance with these Conditions.
4. PRICE OF THE SERVICES AND/OR GOODS
4.1 The price of the Services and/or Goods shall be our quoted price. All prices and price information were correct at the time of publishing, and are subject to change without notice.
4.2 While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of Services and/or Goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of re-confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
4.3 The price is inclusive of any applicable value added tax which you shall automatically be liable to pay to us. Any changes in the rate of value added tax will result in an automatic change in our quoted prices.
4.6 We reserve the right to alter the specification of services and/or goods as necessary.
5. TERMS OF PAYMENT
5.1 Please see our Payment Options for our terms of payment.
5.2 If you fail to make any payment on the due date then we reserve the right to:
(a) cancel the Contract or suspend further deliveries to you;
(b) appropriate any payment made by you to such of the Services and/or Goods as we may think fit; and
(c) charge you interest (as well after as before any judgment) on the amount unpaid, at the rate of 3% per annum above Barclays Bank plc base rate from time to time, until payment is made in full, accruing pro rata on a daily basis.
(d) recover from you the costs we or our merchant services provider may incur in respect banking and similar transaction costs in regard of your cheques or credit card payments which are dishonoured by your bank or credit card company.
5.3 Where a cheque or credit card payment is dishonoured by your bank or credit card provider, they (being your bank, credit card provider or our debt collection company "Worldpay Ltd") may charge you for, and you will be liable to pay them for any fees as a result.
6. GENERAL
6.1 We will not liable to you or deemed to be in breach of contract by reason of delay or failure to perform any of the Company’s obligations if the delay or failure to due to act cause beyond our reasonable control.
6.2 These Conditions do not purport to confer a benefit on any third party.
6.3 Any notice required or permitted to be given by either party to the other under these Conditions shall be in writing addressed to the other’s principal place of business.
6.4 No waiver by us of any breach of the contract by you shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
6.5 If any provision of these Conditions are held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remainder shall not be affected.
6.6 The Contract and these Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
